Phoenix
Leisure Centre
Is
located in the picturesque
surroundings of Coronation
Park, in Launceston North
Cornwall.
The
centre is the focal point of
the community and offers a wide
range of facilities including
a 25 metre heated, pine covered
pool with separate learner pool.
In addition to public swimming
and lessons, closed sessions
are held for adults, children
and parents with toddlers. The
pool also has aquafit classes
and a successful swimming club.
The gymnasium is home to the
finest trampolining and boxing
clubs in the area, badminton,
aerobics, volleyball and roller
hockey are also catered for.
The Pulse Studio is a fully equipped
fitness centre offering 21 cardiovascular
and resistance stations.
The floodlit outdoor play area
is the ideal venue for tennis,
basketball and football.
The centre has its own squash
league, and the two courts, one
of which is glass backed, are
always busy.
The centre also offers expert
coaching and teaching for all
the sports we offer at the Phoenix,
with friendly, professional staff.
