Blisland has stones said to be
older than English history themselves, ranging from the Nine
Trippet Stones and a set of seven stone crosses from the
earliest days of Christianity.
The church is mainly 15th century with some 16th century
work completed on the tower. |
| In this modern day it is almost
difficult to imagine the scene of times before the Battle of
Agincourt but here, on the chancel floor, is a brass portrait
of John Balsam, seen in prayer, which has been there since
those early days. |
